Wine and Espresso for the Connoisseur! |
The display features Craft-Maid
Handmade Cabinetry in the Roosevelt doorstyle. The
cabinets are maple with quartered and figured English
Sycamore veneer center panels and finished ends. The finish
is a custom, high gloss dye stain in a primary red color.
The countertops are
Pyrolave
enameled lavastone from France. The jigsaw cut backsplash is
also Pyrolave combined with stainless steel. The
pattern is cut with a water jet so the pieces fit tightly
together like a jigsaw puzzle.
The accent lighting is provided by
Tresco lighting. Halogen arc spots wash the cabinet
fronts and Xenon Pockit fixtures light the backsplash and
counter.
The display is designed as an espresso/wine bar for the
discerning connoisseur featuring the
Miele
coffee system with cup warmer below and the
Sub-Zero
wine storage system. Miele's coffee system allow you to
experience a well brewed cup of coffee, espresso, cappuccino
or latte with just the push of a button in your own home.
All served in a perfectly warmed cup and saucer from the cup
warming drawer. The Sub-Zero wine storage provides variable
temperature zones, UV protection, proper storage position,
humidity control and eliminates vibration to perfectly chill
and preserve your fine wines. |

Pyrolave
is Exclusive to TDK
Triangle
Design Kitchens is now the exclusive Raleigh area dealer for Pyrolave enameled lava stone. Pyrolave comes from the
volcanic flows at Volvic in France.
The
particular properties of Enameled Lavastone combine to
create a stunning look to this tactile material. The
enamels, bright and translucent, absorb the light which then
reflects back with flashes of warmth. This delicate
crazing to the surface which creates a mood of
"faience", varies with each color and becomes more
enhanced after use.
The
natural pores in the lava gently change the pigmentation on
each slab making every piece unique. The subtle shades
are derived from the natural texture of the lavastone
expressing an outstanding decorative touch, with hand enameling
and the specific firing processes, which unites all the elements.

Pyrolave
enameled lavastone is cleaned with a wet sponge or light
detergent. Stubborn surface residue can be removed by
using a more active substance.
|
The
smooth surface reinforces the characteristics of comfort and
hygiene of the enamelled lavastone. Laboratories have
often chosen Pyrolave working surfaces as the preferred
material.
